CLIENT BRIEF: 4- day challenge

You will be designing a poster for an academic/school subject. Your client is the teacher that is the Head of the Department for that particular subject. 

Using your knowledge of CARP, - contrast, alignment, repetition and pattern - design your poster with an OBVIOUS colour scheme, one or more image traced or hand-drawn elements, and elements/icons/text that represent that subject.

You only have 4 days to design this poster.

Only 1 person per academic/school subject - sign up from the list your teacher provides.

  • planned rough draft on paper
  • poster size is 11x17 or 17x11 at 300dpi
  • 1 image traced element or hand-drawn element
  • the name of the class/department in a prominent way
  • thoughtfully designed elements/icons - they match the subject!
  • thoughtful placement of elements or icons, using C.A.R.P.
