Hand-Lettering Practice: Font Pairing

Steps:

  • Hand draw on a piece of paper in pencil the following 7 font pairs.
  • Find a short saying that you can repeat.
  • Draw one example for each font pair.
  • Be sure to use a ruler to make sure your lines remain consistent.
  • Go over pencil lines with Sharpie fine liner and erase out any pencil marks.
  • Keep your paper CLEAN and NEAT, you will be marked on this.
